Data Conversions

We can convert data to Adagio from Sage 50 (formerly Simply Accounting) or Sage 300 (formerly ERP Accpac). Past and current versions are also supported on request. Note: Conversion from other accounting systems is also possible, but the development time may make this less desirable.

Conversion includes:

  • A/R customers, statistics and posted transactions
  • A/P vendors, statistics and posted transactions
  • G/L chart of accounts
  • G/L posted transactions
  • G/L source codes
  • I/C items, categories, locations and units

Conversion excludes:

  • Open Batches
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Payroll
  • Order Entry

The cost is typically $1000 per dataset. Additional services are available to convert customer, vendor, and/or account codes.

We review the database early in the process, and perform tests to confirm that the final conversion will go smoothly. Sometimes there are complications such as duplicate documents or lengths that exceed the limits within Adagio which need to be addressed. Typically conversions from Sage ERP are the most time consuming.

If the ‘live’ data is delivered on a Friday evening, your client can generally be up and running with Adagio on Monday. Of course that depends on other tasks such as financial statements, print specifications, installation and training.

Data Repairs

Dakota Software performs database repairs to Adagio and ACCPAC Plus databases. We understand that when your accounting system is offline, so is your business. You will be given the highest priority with an average turnaround time of just a few hours.

There is no risk for this service. If we can’t fix your data, you won’t be charged.

Modifications to Adagio Products

We are licensed by Softrak Systems to customize their Adagio product line with new features, modifications, reports and interfaces. Features with wide appeal will often be integrated back into the shipping product.

Adagio Add-On Products

Custom Software Development

Dakota Software has been developing commercial accounting products for the past 25 years. SAP Crystal Reports is used to create complex reports for Adagio and all of our database applications.
